Probably a scam. Cos what I know is you need to be worth a few hundred million for such private placement. Someone I knew once vested a few milion in some beer company. Like you, he was restricted from cashing out and end up in a lawsuit. In the end he just writeoff everything. Suggest you don,'t ex the warrant and consult a lawyer soon.. I Also I was actually surprise when I saw dropbox going Ipo soon. Cos cloud tech really new, and unlikely to ipo now. I am expecting ipo earliest 2 years later. Sorry bro, I can do much except for sharing this.

my worry is whether this is a scam as i became more and more suspicious through my dealings with them:
1. whether  it is legal in Singapore for a foreign investment firm to solicit investments directly from individuals
2. they told me i am obliged to buy the warrants attached. This is contrary to my understanding that the  shareholder has the option  not to pick up the warrants
3. they told me now the shares are being traded in the secondary market for 11 usd per share but when i said i wanted to sell they said that there must be substantial volumn.
4. they try to psycho you to do other investments with them
5. their advisors keep changing
Anyone else in the same plight as me ?? Can kindly share your experience?

fyi this is cloud tech. quite new. if you successful, return can be 5 to 6 times. if fail lose all cap. from what i know, dropbox is not the best standard so far.

Persomal opinion, this kind of ..countrt cmi.....very risky. 1 unproven business model. 2 no gurantee it is going to be the standard yet, in fact still far from setting standard. My view is after IPO price plumment. Dyodd

Hi, did anyone buy the pre iPo shares of dropbox from a investment company named capstone alliance group? It is a company located in Japan and it's consultants are all Caucasians . The pre iPo shares are sold at 7 usd per share. After buying the shares they follow up by asking you to buy warrants which are said to be attached to your shares bought with the ratio of 5 warrants to 1 share at the price of 5.25 usd. Anyone?
