if this crises turn out to be a long haul, the like of 1929...there are more to lose..and tthis crises is likely to be...
when oil is 20 plus...u will be shock...come 2010..
One day they may sell away STEng too if they can get a good offer and use that money to buy more foreign bank shares.

i did remember our leader said Temasek holding sell off their asset even they have some gains... ermmm ... keppel corp is under TM and yup just like our singapore power station sold to china ... haha .. next time the energy price becomes rocket high ... and our singaporeans will suffer and thanks to who...
erm... it is buying thailand comm stock by singapore govt... we lost our protection ? dont know ...
small investors like us will never fully understand big deal involving big giants, esp. GLC companies. so many handshakes behind the scenes.. when it comes to you..it is post-mortem..

A national oil company should never be totally controlled by foreigners.

PETROCHINA has OILY LUCKY STARS to BLIND its vendor on the PURCHASE of SPC at S$6.25 cheap cheap cheap cheap.
PETROCHINA will SUCK up many times of S$6.25 OIL PROFITS from SPC in the LONG TERM.
PETROCHINA should NOT DELIST SPC so that the market will BENCHMARK the value of SPC in the LONG TERM.
PETROCHINA will probably also LIST SPC in the US after pumping more GOOD STUFF into SPC.
PETROCHINA is ENRICHED by the SPC seller.
No Wonder, Taiwanese Li Aw said Country 1's Chinese is Naive while Country 2's Chinese is Shrewd.
