nah dont worry. its not a problem of thinking too deep.
its a problem of really thinking like most pple. most pple would be going in the same direction and about ur depth.
what kills most ppl is really thinking they re investors when they re really speculators

| hi bro, thanks for sharing.. yea we know that right now, most of ipco income is via investing shares of other company.. not a very sustainable way of making money, and i also do not like it.. and i agree with u that if edward lee & datuk start to sell share, probably downside will be heavy.. however, imho, compare to other pennies who are still making a loss but the price goes up for no apparent reason due to speculation by traders, ipco is still better.. ipco is definitely not for speculation, with the large buy & sell queue.. traders can forget about making money in this.. why i'm interested in ipco is mainly 'cos of datuk & edward and the huge cash they have right now which can be a huge potential into something good.. they just enter into ipco, and probably wont exit so fast w/o making some money.. & i think datuk cannot offload his shares for at least half a yr later (not sure about exact timeline)? with large cash they have, there could possibly be good news coming.. it's just a deduction, and may not be correct.. also, not sure if u guys realise, but stocks in which edward lee has seems to be having much larger buy/sell queue, compare to other pennies of same price.. edward has been constantly buying ipco shares, and have bought some at a price more than the current price at 0.027.. maybe he could be putting some trap to lure retailers continue buying, or maybe he could really be interested in ipco, we wont know.. some qns we may want to think about, like why ipco has so large a buy/sell queue, which probably are fake queues.. who is the likely BB behind that put this queue.. could it be edward as he still want to accumulate more of ipco shares slowly? why ipco has so much shorts almost everyday.. is it that profitable to short it for just 1 bid, when we have other pennies which are better shorting targets.. who is the shortist? we never know.. |

no looking into the crystal ball. just based on past results
most of its earnings actually came from its financial gains ie capital gains in blumont etc.
its capital gains can be largely be realised but probably with an impairment. just imagine what people in those stocks would do if they see ssh ipco start selling. but in the right bullish climate, the impairment might be minimal
so u gotta decide if u re buying a resource company or berkshire hathawa |

lol agree. lets just say Isolatr was right with making his call on this one. I made 3-4 times n this current price is much higher den e previous price I bought. dunno if my luck will continue to hold out lol.

most of its earnings actually came from its financial gains ie capital gains in blumont etc.
its capital gains can be largely be realised but probably with an impairment. just imagine what people in those stocks would do if they see ssh ipco start selling. but in the right bullish climate, the impairment might be minimal

why half the post in ipco thread is talking about iso here iso there.. it would be better if seniors can provide their opinions on the outlook for ipco, rather than arguing who is right & who is not.. if those seniors are lamenting about how iso " lure" poor newbies to invest in ipco which they said ipco did not go up as what iso claim, then why not give your opinion about ipco, about why u think ipco is not worth investing, or why is it worth, to really help newbies.. this is like " see, i told u so, xxx is wrong, i'm correct" .. nothing constructive out here
