Quite right.

If you are making $10,000 profit per trade, $25 or $30 brokerage fee doesn't make much different.

But I still think you should start trading with the lower fee brokerage firm first, $5 can still buy a cup of cappuccino.

DBSV ... 400k buying limits ...  perhaps it's time to open more trading accounts as many of you do ... more choices and options ...

Do I care more ab brokerage fees? Not really. But I dun seek the broker's advice ... so the need for a broker is not there.

You should be able to find their brokerage fee from their websites.

If I'm not wrong, Lim&Tan has the lowest fee, follow by iOCBC and than POEMS.

KEahzq      ( Date: 03-Jun-2010 15:04) Posted:

Interesting...

Do you know what are the brokerage fee for online trades for iocbc, poems and lim&tan?!

iPunter is right. Use multiple brokerage firms.

I have accounts with iOCBC, Phillips POEMS, and Lim & Tan.

I choose iOCBC because its platform is easy to use.

I choose Phillips POEMS because of its CFD facility.

I choose Lim & Tan because I like some of their charting tool functions.

After your trades, you will have bags of time to 'tokok', or whatever...

Since trading is mostly about waiting for your profits to come in

after you 've taken action on the (occasional) setup... Smiley

I do my own analysis and don't rely on brokers to tell me what to Buy/Sell.

To me, as long as the broker is polite and willing to assist me when I call him is good enough.
