
don't buy beyond your means even if a counter has corrected substantially - cos' you will never know the bottom even you have all the technical data telling you it is lowest and corrected for a long time. Only then you can make profit for your school fee...

i started my first trade at 18 through my dad's account.. good to start young but start small.. buy within your means.. i remember using all my savings to buy only 1 lot of Robinsons back then..
You can try OCBC's starter pack.. They allow for ages 18 and above to apply.. trading is limited though.. I think it's 10k buy and 20k sell limit..

haha. yup. id be wary to get into the market now. in fact im more of waiting to sell since big bubbles are being formed in China and HK. but i have some shares held under my mom's name and i figured it'd be a lot more convenient to hold it myself. so things like dividends or rights or whatever other nonsense dont have to go through so much trouble transfer money from one bank account to another. ya but i'll take your advice. thanks man. but anyway you know any brokerage firm for under 21 yrs old?

Hi all, ive recently opened a CDP account and am looking for a broker. As far as i know, DBSVickers and Philip Capital has age limit of 21 yrs but im still 18 ): so yup do you guys have any recommemdations?
