Sungei Road, a place where few Singaporeans never went in search of cheap and secondhand goods many year ago. This place brings to mind peddlars who sell all sorts of wares cheaply. The goods are commonly known as second hand goods, but sometimes when you were lucky you could even get brand new of first hand items. They said they sell "thieves' goods", but mostly you can get something for less than 30 percent of its shelf or market price. Anyone with some experience with Sungei Road of yonder years?

There are still so many Sungei Rd counters (cheap and really low priced) counters for the taking. Buy and keep and one day they will profit you. Just a thought, many are rarely traded and these will one day grow from ugly ducklings to beautiful swans. Cheers.
