Sg stock market is hard to invest or trade, and if you have been long in this market you would already realized that our market has not gained favour in comparison with other stock markets globally. Nobody ever cared about this although recently some inspiring plans by some groups are game on boosting investment here that I am sceptical would likely increase interest in our stock market.
In order for us to have an attractive market some long standing issues such as shorting and insider trading must be resolved. As much as we don't want a bubble, we must be careful not create a vacuum that could deflate every aspect of our economy. I believe uncontrolled short selling of shares could be the destablising force of that vacuum that can suck everything in if we are not careful. That will be very serious.

Only the three bank stocks and very few other stock benefited from this time rally of STI .most of stocks still dropped a lot from their recent peak.they are still in the shit. if SGX is just for a few stock. it is no point to exist.other stocks and specially those S-chips are shorted strictly and purposedly by some shorters.their internal value is above their current price.SGX management should think out a way how to push the mid-cap stock to their true value.poor SGX and poor retailor investor.
