The first big move for Global Invest (GI) came when they announced they were selling off their music assets to repay most of their outstanding loans. Shot up from 0.05 to about 0.13 over a fortnight. They also announced that they had appointed Stan Chart to review their portfolio and today, the review is completed. I expect a move up soon once this is approved by the shareholders and ST Asset Mgt is officially appointed as the manager for the fund. STAM is wholly owned by Temasek so we'll probably see similar investment characteristics. As mutual funds go, this is one of the better ones around and now that they are moving away from the Babcock & Brown Group, returns should be v good if u're willing to hold for a little while. Just take note that there may be fund raising on the way as that is how mutual funds operate.
