True. Etrade has a Singapore office at Hong Leong Bldg that can manage your admin or help issues. Go and try it.

Any broker is acceptable as long as trade orders are executed promptly and smoothly especially 'in-house' CFD trades.
It can be extremely frustrating if CFD trades are not executed promptly when the order price is hit.
Such an experience will definitely leave a very bitter taste in the client's mind which will last a lifetime if it is an important trade...
also you can buy any number, no 1000-lot
trade commission is like USD9.99 each

Agreed, and it is a wise move to do so. You see, if you trade more by using US Brokerages such as ETrade, Scotts trade and many others your savings could be huge.

On toop of these problems and others highlighted by many sifus here before, there is no rule on exchanges from US$ to S$, and you are whacked at their whims and fancy. Please listen, or else come back here to grouse your regrets.

Don't take this kind of risk. Poems is too too too too expensive to trade US Stocks. Many reasons: First: Very High commission. Two: No amalgamation of orders, e.g. if you want 1000 Citibank and then thought it is good to buy another 1000, these two trades are separately counted for min com or high percentage comm. Please, please listen to experienced man and you won't go wrong.

I saw in this blog that Collin Seow is conducting workshop Trade US Market using POEMS. It's only S$10.

Don't take this kind of risk. Poems is too too too too expensive to trade US Stocks. Many reasons: First: Very High commission. Two: No amalgamation of orders, e.g. if you want 1000 Citibank and then thought it is good to buy another 1000, these two trades are separately counted for min com or high percentage comm. Please, please listen to experienced man and you won't go wrong.

Generally people in "professional" lines are honesty-abiding unless they are tempted. Those who are easy prey will be the ones who trade in and out alot and not able to keep track of their accounts.

It could be money due you but overlooked, or that outstanding due erased by human who eventually misappropriate without you being able to trace owing to too much paper work to do so. Computer don't make small mistake but big mistake (cannot trade or crash). Just joking i don't trade with peom.My trading for the day is under order status before moving to outstanding status the next day.
I don't get what you mean, but computers by themselves as a rule don't make mistakes...
years ago I received a contract note from iOCBC for a transaction done.
Luckily I received the contract note, otherwise, if it goes misplaced, I wouldn't have known about it and
then there would be a lot of messy issues because the mistake would have gone ahead undetected by me or anyone.
Luckily the mistake was then rectified immediately on the spot... whew! ...
Hi,
for those using Poems to e trade. Have you ever encountered that the trading made mistake in a way that it appeared the next day for the counter you didn't sell. I was sure that end of the day I looked at the trade proceed for the day and it didn't appear such transaction.
My remisier also said that it's very unlikely the computer made mistake. is it true
