That is the truth...

All play stocks to make money...

If a trend is apparent, it would be risky to go against the trend...

When a market trend is down... good, strong,  powerful, and high-quality stocks... all will go down too.

And when the time is up for the market to rise, all stocks, including the cats and dogs, will rise too, though not in unison. ..

Investing in stocks is thus actually investing in timing, and not the companies... Smiley

The 1st of the 3 golden mantras tat I learnt from trading books:

(1) Remember, "The trend is your friend, never, never go against the trend", we need to know the short-term, mid-term n long term trend n trade accordingly

When stock are badly sold irrationally, price would definitely fall below all your MA. Isnt this the case for market panic. Stock panic is just the same psychologically or even magnified. I am hopeful it would move up the MAs next week.

Call it a herd effect. They can be explained using psychology. After the Lehman case, every see stock market like ghosts. Even at good bargin price, no body wants to pick up. The companies that I calling Raffles Edu, Goodpack, China Fish and Pac Andes are fundamentally good companies whose business I can understand and see value. They can really make good profits.

If purist chartists disagree, please abstain from commenting in this forum and leave me alone. Do not accumulate bad karma. TIA

When stocks are sold down, it may not be irrationally done...

On the contary, smart investors (big guys), who think the market will fall further, will not act 'rational' and thus stubbornly lose their money.

They think rationally (since the market is falling).

If they are not rational when the market is falling and falling, they will lose out big!

Because when the market falls, all so-called 'fundamentals' can go to the dogs!... Smiley

Haha your not the only one, but then again I think it's cause we look at the market too much and we get affected by every single drop of news causing us to dwell too much on that news that we make the wrong decision.

There is a high chance of seeing PacAndes to delist China Fishery. I have discussed with forumer one to two weeks ago.

But now immediately as PacAndes can buy cheaply from the open market till 80%. Open offer would definitely be attractive. PacAndes + china fishery would be a very sexy story for dual primary listing in HK. China Fishery is worth at least $2.

You all judge for yourself. I have collected some fishes recently.

I see you point of view, Currently Pac Andes ia holding 78.7% of China Fish's share.

Let's say it really want to delist China Fish, What % of premium will it willing to pay?

Could be just a 10%...... Wild guess...
