Buy and Sell - NEWBIE

Did any1 of u discover tat pre-trade queues at the non-withdrawal 5 minutes could be withdrawn anytime even last minute?  So pls don't try to put a sell price lower hoping to get a market order.  I tried early morning 8.56 a.m. once and got bluffed. Buyer then offered higher than prev clse, so I thought could get a better price but instead done the prev. closing price. Felt cheated.

 

Buyer put in their order and appears as BUY, Vol, Price

Seller put in their order and appears as SELL, Vol, price

Stack exchange just MATCH buy and sell , when they are equal, there is a trade.  If there is NO match, these Buy and Sell ques remained there, and expire end of day.


If you are buyer, putting on 6 cents, buy, and if there is NO seller at 6 cents, your order will be sitting in sgx computer, at the end of the day it expired.
