yup..let us huat tgt..like uncle AK mention, this baby is good to keep for long.

 

 

i only got 100 shares at 36....after AIA listing more huat huat!!!! hopefully

 

have some shares @ Price 1.5 ( convert to $31.45), bought some at $10..now almost $50...finally see some $$..

going for long term for this counter..been holding for almost a year liao...haha

It has nothing to do with the rule. As long as AIG reaches a rock bottom price, the Gov may buy back all the shares at cheap cheap,  delist and re-package in another day...

According to Citi, AIG's value is zero should they decide to pay the Gov. wat they owe.

yea.. thats why traders look for a temp. bottom waiting for unbound.. else these US counter can just pop up anytime when its price get too distress..

Agreed with sifu's comments that if there is ampteen good counters at local, why choose those less visibility counters abroad, though with high return n high risk?

Decision fr GIC's top brass, may be a good yalkstick for gauging d foreign stocks. Ha ha, thus why AK still holding few Citi n Ppty counters. After lately DJ down performance, no free tea tarek liao. Monitoring closely loh.

AK also follow d other arm to sw to China's bank, keeping some BOA n ICB. So far, got some free Peking duck n Mao Tai wine.  

 

 

Pieow...heng...., sold before the day they consolidate, even though at a lost. At first, my intention was to play contra before the news was out. And now, look at the price, 'free fall' and as good as penny stock in near time.  

 

I got this counter but sold at US$1.96 for a very small profit after seeing it refused to go up to 2.00 some time in April/May.  Got 1000 shrs only and very lucky to sell from "instinct" or else kenna whacked. 

 

Terrible burger!! B4 consol on 1 Jul 09, it closed at 1.46,1.33 & 1.16 on (Fri) 26 Jun, (Mon) 29, & (Tue) 30 respectively. Lets take d consol px ref to 1.16, d effective consol px on 20:1 ration, should be 23.20 USD for d new share opens for trading on 1 Jul 09. But it closed at 18.08 instead.

Last nite, it had shed further to 9.48, down 3.62 for d day. Now, presume converting it back to b4 consol, d px per share is 0.474 USD only. Really, big wok ah. AK not vested by one of my frd got it, no sure she has cleared it before d consol?  

 

So many good shares worth buying local why should we buy US shares?
