52 week LOW STOCK

Just look at Gallant supporters from 30cents right up to 52 cents, no way shortise can win from opening bell, STI 2,400 is for real, very easy to cross by Friday

 

Immediate support level at 2,380, next leven at STI 2,350, someone may hv said STI 2000 coming, at this level, it still long way to go.

Macqintinfra is one the stock also in lowest so far. Anything to add in anyone??? 

 

There're 2 threads on Creative and the court case. It has a book value of $8.10. This will provide support for the stock.

I won't be surprised if its price goes up because the Christmas quarter is traditionally strong and DBSV may issue a positive report in view of this. This was what happened last year. It's a very volatile stock, which you may profit from it.

 

I agree with singaporegal that stocks at 52 weeks low do not necessary mean they are good buys. Keejang ever mentioned that he only trade stocks that are active, say 2m lots traded daily. The point is one can sell such stocks easily. 

 

From a TA perspective, Creative trend is uncertain at the best. I'm willing to bet that it'll either stagnate or downtrend somemore.

From its business perspective, I think the lawsuit with Apple is not going to do it much good. Even though their MP3s are very good, they are losing out in the marketing front to Apple.

Christmas is still a long time away... not willing to look so far away

 

Creative Tech is one stock which is at 52-week low ... it used to be a cash cow for me for the last 4 years.

Their MP3s are good enough with lots of functions, but the designs and ads are not as hip and flashy like Apple's. Image counts for MP3 as it wore as an accessories these days - unlike walkmen previously.

I saw Creative's new ads on TV last night - its Japanese based if I recalled well (drank some beer). So I guess they are focusing on Japan and Asia to expand now - instead of fighting Apple head on in the US.

Anyone on Creative's shares??? Christmas is approaching and I believe it will rise somehow.

there are many reasons why a stock goes to a 52 week low.

just because of this, it does not mean that the stock is a potential good buy.
