Obviously by downgrading Singapore banks to HOLD has affect the market sentiments.

Analysts whether they missed the market or they have amassed big positions before making statements, are usually less relied on because one analyst can assert differently from another.

Normally what they say today will be different from what they will be saying tomorrow.

Trade wisely.

Cheers.

This question has been in my mind.  Just yesterday or so, you see the Singapore banks dropping dead downward like a ball falling off the cliff.

Have analysts downgraded the banks at the wrong time.  What is their views of US banks?  The last few days were seeing encouraging moves for US banks and they were literally leaping forward.
