Research:
We maintain our technical view for the STI to trend lower towards 1275-1300 before reversing up. But the bear trend may pause for a breather in the short-term. We see a minor technical rebound off the immediate support level at 1445-1475 that should test 1585 but not exceed the 1630 level. The trend could turn temporarily sideways in the week(s) ahead before heading down for 1300 in late 1Q or early 2Q.
We advocate: 1) Aggressive short-term traders should trade the minor bounce. That is, ‘buy on weakness’ at 1450 or slightly higher and ‘sell into strength’ near 1585. Investors can ‘nibble lightly’, preferably below STI 1500 in the short-term but not chase the minor rebound. Instead, look to buy more aggressively into beta plays during the subsequent STI retreat towards 1300. |

And the First non-American American President!

I also heard about his rumour about a stock market major correction next week. It is all over the internet.
I think it has to do with the event called "Triple Witching Day" for Q1 on the third Friday of March June Sept and December. The Triple Witching Hour is 3~4pm EST.
Triple Witch Day is the expiration of three major options in US....namely, Stock Index Future, Stock Market Option and Share Option.
So watch this date closely.

I supposed Witching3 operates in an uptrending market...
But it in this carnage, it may have the opposite effect... ie. an upward correction...

It is akin to letting good money chase after bad. Those 'billionair's' must be damn desperate. Wat the world need are trillionaire's. Billionaire's are short on their zeroes.

A piece of good news for the whole world, but don't kill me if it turns out to be a fake.
I heard from one source (not nice to name) that a couple of rich billionaires are grouping up to buy stocks globally in order to boost up prices thus protecting their wealth. This piece might be a welcome sort of thing.
Cheers. But don't buy before they do!! |

Maybe if the big fishes are not doing anything to boost the market, you can learn to become a big fish in the meantime. I'm building a recession proof online business. Would you like to join me?

Who knows if you're not successful in stocks, you might be in internet.
I hate spamming, and this is not spamming, as you will soon know how easy it is to make some money.

Yes...
And the US is most likely going to
print more money (ie. creating a bigger debt) in order to
encourage more of the very same over-spending behaviour that is the main cause of this present global carnage...
Interesting solution. Saving the financial sector first then counter the other issues. Inflation is not an issue currently. More worrying is deflation as it will lead to companies further cost cutting measures & result in higher unemployment rate. We are in a situation where we have a pail of water but many spots of fire.

Even if this is true, a couple of billionaires will not be able to do much. Even the US government's hundreds of billions of bailout money didn't even lift sentiment. |

The super rich can buy good companies and sit on it till the companies produce the positive results. If you can, you can do the pickings now.

Haha! If this is true and apply for Sg market only, it will make a great different in this bleak sentiment. How about if our 2 SWFs start putting some money into our market?
