Just sharing my personnal thot with trading experience...Buy when U have some spare $$$ and sell when it hit a high five...hitting US$20 - US$30 will take a few more years...the earliest next May 2010 as shares usually trade several months (six months) in advance of anticipation of good news. just having a estimated rough guess...Pls do ur home work...banks get nationalised..?. very low chances.

If you don't need the money, and time horizon is 3-5 yrs. I would wait very patiently. If you are not tempted to take profit, or itchy finger. If you can don't watch the mkt every night otherwise you might just be trigger happy.

Citigroup is back on right footing,5-10yr recovery

Posted: 19-Apr-2009

Those few whom choose to believe in me, can be 100% sure one can have not just 100% profit. teeth53 thot: Can only go to 1000% in profit...US$1.50 cents to US$15.00 dollar. this will not becoming a so call long or very long term.

Posted 28 Feb 09 1 -2 yr..any times..so long someone is very rich, very rich to buy..see no problem even if China SWF's is interested...even Arab can effort to buy....New Citigroup targeted prices US$3.25 cents, over longer term US$10.00 to US$20.00 dollars is a real possiblity. With such strong supporters "GIC supports the initiative by Citigroup and the U.S. government to strengthen the quality of the bank's capital base,"

not willing to part with half a million $, dont mind to hold for 3-5 years so long shares wont get delisted and become zero value. which are the "winners"? if this can be predicted, then i will make a switch but who can really tell?

hi jm,

instead of averaging down a loser, it's wiser to look for a winner to invest in.

Hi ace6868,

If I were you, I'll sell some and keep some if you've the money to spare. Get some quick bucks, and you never know. (Anyway follow your guts' feel.)

I've 11 lots right now, planning for long-term investment. Some lots are bought when they're pretty low price.

All the market talk and signs are pointing towards both Citi & BOA would need cash infusion again. Yet the share price of these stocks has been running up ridiculously over the last few days

Tonight looks like judgement night, with the stress test results out after the mkt closes (?).

I have been averaging up since early Apr 09, little by little since it was $2.75. Bought @ 2.75, 2.9, 3.2, 3.3 & 3.48(this 1 last night). Now holding a total of 10.5 lots.

My dilema is; sell all or reduce my holding thereby lock-in profits or continue to hold? Someone pls advice.

Watch out for the gov investment arms. They inovled in major banks in US, Bri, Sw n PRC. So far no distinct action yet, except change of pilot. Free fund manager for u.

D lady pilot abandon flight as d other angmo pilot has some STRONG abtitube which she dun hv. Ha ha, now more fingers are pointing to d new pilot liao. AK perceives that she made a good move. Presumes guided by someone behind. Ha, guess who, about there loh.

Above solely are AK per view, no call for anything.

What i see if US gov wont get them collapse. But nationalise hard to say although obama make the sentence they would nt wan to do it. But if condition get worst and if they need more $$ from US gov, how? Or even now if Gov convert their pshare to normal share, stakeholders' current share will also dilute.. how i see it is unless u going quick in quick out, if nt u have to be long term investors like GIC to see profit.
