I just heard from a friend who is still hiring fresh grads that some of them are still expecting excellent salaries (>$4K per month). I guess reality hasn't really hit them yet.

Speculators are often manipulated at the hands of the marketmakers. They load in cheaply and quietly before relying on news to boost the share price. Once speculators hear those news, they will load in and this is when the shares will be distributed to them to make profits. In the end, the speculators will be the last one left holding the plunging stocks.

Usually the BB's tricks are ironed out only when they ironed us out! This is the cardinal truth. Trade alongside their schemes. Buy with them but run before them.

The alternative to trading and woriied about the natural consequences of the trading activities is to INVEST.

Over period of time all the BB tricks are ironed out.

We should always remember to be careful before putting up an order.  For every order we execute, there is always the opposite party who will use all effort to make a profit out of you.  You buy his share, he wants to make it cheaper so his sale position becomes a profit.  You sell him your share, he  try efforts to make his buy position profitable.  This is always the natural consequences of the trading activities in the stock market.  This is not taught to us in books.

Agreed, retail investors like us cannot beat the BB.

Don't forget that the majority of share players are losers.  All investors should be aware that there are many things the books cannot teach, such as the people who trade against you, the manipulative elements and the way the game (investment) is being played..Hehe.

Property is coming down soon. It always lags behind the economy. I guess it is still in the initial stage.

If one can master oneself, the world wide world would be seeking advice from him.

That is very true...

Because even if the guru were to be standing behind you and breathing heavily behind your shoulders watching your every move, you still have yourself to contend with...

Ultimately, the best advice in the whole wide world is useless if one can't master oneself... Smiley

Yes i agree with you. apperently, my best students are those that are younger ones, those who have lots of expereience and aged tend to perform not as expected. My best student (not from this forum) has already exceeded me in my winnings so far and he is less than 22 years old! I am Proud of him!

please, they know shit about investing... at this age, just go and learn how to find variable, x , y , z... and not playing big or small, which is up or down of 1 stock..

if no fundamentals, don't talk about reading the details of FA or TA analysis.
