Ya.... initially i was very skeptical about it but thru further understanding of the plan..... It's not time sharing programme as it's all on investment or to buy up for own usage....

Just know that under service apartment association... there will not be any transaction done less than 7 days stay.... they want to control service apartment not letting operate like hotel as to protect hotel's operators interests....

Anyway..... if u come across timeshare that can give this high R.O.I pls inform me ok???? i will be very interested to listen to what they are going to offer..

Sorry for late reply.... Wow.. alot of my friend keep asking me about the investment too... Will blow alot of investors mind and they are willing to invest man... Quite blur with the response,.,,

About the question on (1) Why would locals want to stay in serviced apartments?

Ans: Precisely the company know that Singaporean will not want to stay in service apartments (though there will bound to be someone will) and they will rather go for hotel for a weekend chill out ( including me) and when we know about the R.O.I is attractive... we will choose to sell back those purchased days to the managing arm.... Right? Also... if we choose to stay we will not be able to get back those interest according to my best knowledge.

As on question 2) What is the upfront capital payout to be part of this scheme?

Ans:  It's according to the appetite of the investors starting from 1450 (12 days), 5400 (48 days) and 8960 (84 days) all in USD as they are going to get regional investors........  This is just info that i gather from a close friend... Think it will be a big thing talking about in coffeeshop in two to three months down the road especially this period with oil high, everything high and stocks hard to play....

Hmmmmm......... till now still thinking of putting 3/4 of my money rather than earlier stated half on this and half on stocks... Dow drop 250+... Black friday!!!

Hi jasonrxz,

The idea is certainly novel and the ROI is pretty good.

Serviced apartment are not new (there are quite a few at town area) and are usually targeted at expats who stay for long periods of time (at least 6 months). In this case, it seems odd that the stay is in blocks of 12 to 84 days. Some questions come to my mind -

(1) Why would locals want to stay in serviced apartments?
(2) What is the upfront capital payout to be part of this scheme?

Hi to all bros and sis,

I came across this company who diversify from it's traditional way to doing electronic equipment business for 20 odds year to building a service apartment in rangoon rd and now asking investors to buy in days of stay in block of 12, 48 or 84. However if we choose not to stay there, the managing arm of the company will buy back the purchased days from us at a higer rate to market out themselves.

Quite a good return of 20% to 34.4% annually with monthly payout scheme. I think this investment is low risk high return....

Any comment? thinking of investing as the service apartment is new and it's totally new concept in Singapore.....

cheers
