Honestly, I don't know the answer.
However the system does have a "stop" order. And I don't know how to use it to my advantage.

How to trade away from the PC without stop-loss function???
My humble opinion only:
1. The PIP spread is wider.
2. Commission is charged for each transaction (prob miniForex only).
3. There is no stop loss or take profit function.
4. The currency for transaction is US$ and interest would kicks in once transaction is done.
I could be wrong. Correct me if u find any errors.
Any 'high views' (gao jian) on POEMS forex platform?...

Guys, thank you for the comments, Qs & As.
Seems like there are more things to consider when it comes to opening a FOREX acct than stocks.
Does IGMarkets give alerts via e-mail?
SAXO charges US$20 plus spread for mini contracts.
If you put on a trade for 1 mini of GBP/USD, immediately you are down by US$23. That means your trade need to gain 23pip before you can make a profit.
Try IGMarkets. No comm. They also offer great charting tools.
Any opinion on SAXO?
Thanks in advance.
no need to hit head, u can do demo trades on mt4 to practice till u happy before go Live trading.
??

Also IBFX used to be the best but no longer the best Mt4 brokers? why simple? beginners usually used IBFX as it is mostly recommended by the beginner forex course teachers and forex ebooks . however, Live traders are leaving ibfx for certain reasons which DEMO account users doesnt know.
Real TRader dun use MT4. reasons? u will know will you become pros.
Not saying all traders dun use mt4 but most real traders dun trade wih MT4. they simply use it for charting.
Usually new forex beginner uses MT4 and doesnt know why most Real Traders don't.
It is one of the way how u tell a beginner from the seasoned ones..
Wow! iPunter, what nice things to say! They must have really impressed you.
I particularly enjoy using MT4 (with Interbankfx)...
Its interface is a pure bliss to use and it allows one to make lightning-quick trades in and
out with superb ease.
The charts are classic and enables the nicest arrangement on multiple monitors.
Great for both scalpers and position traders too,,,
Don't leave without it!!!
heya, you can take a look at FXCM, metatrader or Ig markets. the last offers free 2 week demo; the system is web-based--so you can try it out for yourself without having to download stuff:

the commission that is charged is the pip spread between the buy/sell price, so it entirely depends on which pair you are playing, and what your broker is willing to give.
if you're a normal account, then standard commission will be 2-3 pips for the most common pairs: Euro/US, US/JPY, Euro/JPY. etc. If you're trading exotic pairs like the GBP/JPY, the pip spread can be as much as 8-9.
cheers and good luck! :)
Can any one recommend any local or oversea Forex Trading broker . What is the commission they charge?
