the property market (not the mass market) is experiencing a slowdown or a cooling period. Developers are not willing as buyers remain on the sidelines cautious.
If could know the property cycle trend, one can estimate the market-entry time to this sector....
so wondering anyone knows the property timeline?
The oil and gas along with other energy commodities are in imminent demand by every country (developed and developing) presently. Look up for the oil companies that own oil fields, riggers-leasing, technical downstream companies.
For times like this, dun invest in huge ticket items. Just take your money and shrt the market on all stocks that have high PE's.
The property market is part and parcel of the economic landscape...
In bad finamcial times, how can one expect much property buying?
And furthermore, this current global financial crisis is precipitated by property-related mortgages...
think i saw some article this some time year on Sunday Times mentioning about "Property Cycle" ....not much is known about it...probably can ask an experienced property agent?

Got one, 11 yrs sunspot cycle. Sun internal explosion radiating strong EMF, which will affect electric and magnetic field related appliances on the Earth, such as Telecomms, medical appliances, defence weapons, Electronic and wireless control transportation etc. Last SC was in 2001 next is 2011. Then what stocks to keep and what other to dump, your brillant minds to consider. Cheers.
i read up in the library before on the "Joseph Cycle"...written by a Singaporean author...you may wish to check it out...in his book, he even forecasted the recession years...hmmm...i can't remember correctly but he seems to had predicted 2008 or 2009 recession
