DJIA was pretty shocking with its moves last night. Had been expecting some support at 13100 but only saw a teeny weeny rebound before the great 100pt bungee jump to 13000. The news was worse than expected (manufacturing PMI, ISM index).

Looks like STI decided to really push a bit more down below expectations to 3397 eh? That's the market for us.

Let's see how DJIA will close at 4am today. Personally I don't expect too much of a rebound yet given the Friday. In any case, if the DJIA rebound tonight is weak, and 50d MA still crosses the 200d MA from above (yesterday DJIA closed with the 50d MA exactly just touching the 200d MA)... good luck.

keke, let's see how it goes. ok babies, it's play time!

for those tempted to enter, not yet. major US data out tonight, including unemployment and factory. not expected to be pretty. so don't take any 'rebound' for today as real. if you are trading long for today, perhaps try to exit by end of the day. alt stay out.

i'd expect a second tanking when HSI opens, then in afternoon when europe opens.

SGX strike to enter if 12.10-12.5, large buys.

BBs mostly not in yet. retail feeding frenzy currently.

caveat emptor applies. cheers!

My guess: 3434. If DJIA really hum cheem peng tonight, then 3418 or 3400 shouldn't be a problem.

PS: Readers of these series of posts, pls dun take the info here blindly and stake your family fortunes on STI warrants based on what you read here.

None of us can be right 100% of the time. Otherwise we'd be running our own hedge funds. :-P.

haha. thanks for the compliment synnexo, but let's not go into onesupmanship lah. i just try to give based on the techs (aka, some 'facts' to support). of course, all decisions are an individual's own to make, hence the caveat emptor that normally follows, esp if i happen to be giving a precise call.

guess for tmrw! haha ok, whee let's play! keke. idesa, since you're taking up, i'll guess down. 3442 sti for tmrw close (barring any major dow tanks).

anyone else wanna play? just for fun!

Smiley

Pension, ok lah, today you are right.  But, not everyday is a Sunday.

Yes, agreed with synnexo.  Why don't you predict the next 5 trading days.

Don't brag...think of how you wanna breakeven for your Banjoo.

If one keep "predicting" down with STI, it sure will hit it right somehow.

Why not predict straight 5 trading days & see you can get it right. Then people will respect your call & know you have substance.

A living example is Elfie. Her calls are 99% cool.
