Settlement of Gold ETF (US$) using CPF Monies

Please be informed that with effect from 6 November 2007 (trade date), the Gold ETF (Stock name: GLD 10US$) will be CPFIS-OA approved and investors are able to use their CPF monies to trade the Gold ETF.  The stock is denominated in US$.

To facilitate settlement using CPF monies, clients are required to indicate the client settlement currency as SGD. In the case where the contract settlement currency is indicated as non-SGD, the contract will be settled as a retail (cash) contract.
