Only way to beat the casino: Trade on long term mentality and take profit on short term when in profit.

Buy stock on fundemental, aim long term, when u happy take profit. when correction or major event hits, u can sleep peacefully, since u have planed for long term. no finance chargers. This way broker get less commision and casino always loose!Smiley

No CFD,No margin account.

CFD based on casino theory: The HOUSE always wins!

CFD for Short term trades. If U look at POEMS initial CFD stage, they publish the winer and looser.

Notice looser with Massive losses.  Win big Loose big, U win some and casino win some.

When correction or major events hits the CASINO wins all in a massive swep of all account.

every account holder will be in margine call.  Traders often donate their live saving to CASINO on short term trades. Ask your self one question, CFD can hold for many month or years, YES with Additional finance charge. But dont forget one thing, CFD is lust full and gives 5x leverage. every one will leverage to the max due to human nature greed and donate their saving to CASINO.  Thats the purpose of CFD why go small when u have the weapon of mass destruction to go big?

CFD GOOD? make big and loose big. correction hits and u have to liquidate because u can stand it.

CFD not good during correction!

CFD not good during bear market!

CFD not good during volatile market!

CFD not good for long term trades!

CFD only good during stable bull market!

CFD only good short term trades!

CFD good for Explosive profits and losses!SmileySmiley

maxliukt, if you still have balance, poems does not ask to top up..i usually leave some balance for any unrealised loss so no margin calls...for cmc i lost quite a lot, balance 2K so didnt trade in their platfom till market is stable later...can't afford to have margin calls...

not trading forex and dont have metatrade but have metastock for charting

teresa, thanks for the reply. does peoms ask to top up account when the stock ends down, against a position? cmc sends emails to remind top up account.

do you know about MetaTrade by MetaQuotes for FX, stocks and commodities, mentioned by Kilroy?

anyone trading forex here? or is it better to stick with cfd stocks?

maxliukt, i dont like cmc...they realised your profit or loss every day once you are in the trade...so when the market moves down, you see your ledger balance down, so demoralising...poems is different...as long as you have not closed your position it will reflect as unrealised profit/loss until you closed your position they will adjust only the margin available...

in cmc not many counters to short as compared to poems...the only good feature is their good till cancelled and stop limit and no time restriction to put in the trade...

there is this time restriction in poems that is so irritating...you cant put in your trade until 9.01, by then u miss the boat..as the prices moves so fast within 1 min...wish ppl in poems will take out this stupid restriction and put in stops....

There is a seminar on CFD by SAXO Capital Markets this evening at the National Library.  They also have a 20 days free trial account for using their platform.  http://www.saxomarkets.com.sg/

I think a good platform is important.  I am using MetaTrade by MetaQuotes for FX, stocks and commodities.

787180, which company are you using for CFD with stops? I'm using Poems. They don't have stops. When market is very volatile we have to monitor closely.  Another company CMC has stops but limited counters. Need to find a good platform with that does not hang easily too.

Shorting with a view to close your position before 5pm is naked shorting and usually doesn't make much but with CFD ( contract for difference ) with just a fraction of your cost you can leverage and make so much.To illustrate eg recently I shorted 300lots of Uniasia from $2.64 to $2.76,for simplicity I'll use minimum price of $2.64

300 lots will cost $792,000 ($2.64 x 300)(exclude brokerage)but with CFD I only pay 20% of $792,000=$158,400 and can choose to close my position when I squeezed the stock dry..I decided to close my position today at $1.10 total profit =$462,000 gross excluding comissions using my deposits of $158,000 instead of cash outlay $792,000..for a small capital one can make $$$ in an up or down market with magnified profits and small capital...There is auto cutloss limits and you can trade with ease

Most brokers are reluctant that investors use CFD as their businesses are affected or they may not be competent to handle hence resulting in them discouraging U from using.

CFDs works like warrants except they have no expiry dates that's the beauty of them ..they are Weapons of mass destruction in making a killing when market soars or drops drastically but withhout you yourself being killed Razz
