XD - what does this means

XD - eXclude Dividend

It mean there will be no dividend given for current purchase.

If you purchase previously before XD, you will get the dividend, even if you sell duing XD.

 

if u r still holding the stock on XD,u ill get the divvy.but if u buy on XD,then u wun get it..if u r holding it n then sell on XD,u'll still get ur divvy.

 

Hi, Just need some help to understand when the stock has XD, if I do sell the stock now, do I still get the dividend ? (I assume if I buy the stock now, there will be no dividend included.)
