teeth thanks for your advance 'warning', manage to contra off yesterday morning with small profit.... :). the support for this is not so good, esp everyone is swifting to cityspring (i vested 3 lots at 1.47 in cityspring too).

ahh.. i see it is quite a gamble but good that it had support to close at 1.02 =)

 

Currently strong support is at or shown in sgx trading $0.98c to $1.02 cts, if it break out it mean next support level is.....if it break down, next support is ............Hope it help..

 

i dont get it. You mean once it reaches 1.09 then it will have support or that is the target price?

Me. Never kena any either(no luck), anyway congrat....those ipo lucky winner., Well within my expection of a dollar. Next init... tp support px about $1.09c, just sharing my tot again.

	Hi Yongjiu, Still got Kinnergy ipo at 0.23c, small chances 1.2m share for public, but at least U got CitySpring (hold till it hit $2/- then U decide)  C.Farm hot item easily above Ke tp px, 200% is possible 0.345c going $1/- to $1.03c, volume will be definately more them KSH. Just my tot.

Finally the contra players had posted abt their losses. This is serves to balance the picture on how contra can bring great winnings and great losses too! So for other contra wannabes step in with the perception that it is not a sure win strategy.

Until today I still no guts to play contra. I am a conservative small little fry that is happy to get $40-$60 after deduction per trade. May want to stretch it to $100-$200 after deduction per trade but that will require more capital upfront if not play contra :P

 

sohguanh, in fact you are right and understand where you are coming from. I stop playing contra since 19th Oct 2005 heavy loss abt $7K.

For today case, I have backup cash, anything happen (touch wood), i can still put money into it after 3 days.

 

You can also read my in KangDa, I also lost. Good Luck. I saw this trend is gaping up, be careful.

 

IS there anyway to get successful for new IPO shares .I tried all IPO's (SunVic/china farm/ etc) and everything was rejected.Should we need to buys more lots ( > 20 lots) minimally to get sucessful or any other way.How is the selection process for new IPO shares allocation.

ehh...sohguan...see my other post in SPC...i ever loss due to shorting ok??....beside..all my gain/losses minimum for purely small play..how to survive like dat? crazy to do this fulltime right??

 

Why I always see posting of successful contra players? How about those who failed and make a loss? Care to post on the forum also? This trend can indirectly encourage more investors to play contra which is good or bad depending on how you look at it.

I refuse to believe contra players are always winning monies. If true, I can quit my fulltime job to just play shares contra PURELY already correct? :)

nickyng, I saw your post just now, you sound experienced and I guess that you will escape at 0.985 too. Wow, salute your 'shorting' courage, cos I don't have the guts to do it.
