But sad to say Alistair Edwards, Abbas Saad all eat money wan. They run road before Spore police catch up with them. So how many ppl inside that team that eat money is everyone guess :)

Got one german goalie also eat money rite? I tink he also run road very fast. How come those ang moh run faster than our Spore police har? 8O

should spend more $$ in sailing and shooting instead

however soccer pulls in the most crowds.

It is money wasted on 'Fallen' talents. The money should be channelled to other sports that S'pore can shine - definitely not football! Cheers!

if u look at the french national team, u will notice a lot of black people.

the thing bothering me is that even when these foreign imports, we have to struggle so hard to win. this is embarressing man.

Actually I agree with lewsh88....

I find it quite strange when non-Singaporean born people (no offense to them or their skills!) represent Singapore in international games.

I personally feel much greater satisfaction to see Tan Ah Beng from Toa Payoh win a BRONZE medal than a Mr. John Doe from UK, but now Singapore Citizen, win a GOLD medeal.

I am from the Kwa Kim Song, Dollah Kassim generation when there were no foreign players involved.

Personally, I feel that the present team even with foreigners is not even up to the standard of English FA 3rd Division or the Kim Song/Dollah Kassim era.

Our Minister's hope of Singapore winning the world cup must be aeons from now.

At best, this present team is good for Singapore Pool betting only.

Apologies if I have offended anyone. Just my personal opinion.

not to be a wet blanket, but lets also remember that it was our dear Lionel Lewis that let in the 1st goal easily that led the game into extra time

Singapore's performance was disappointing man.

Most soccer players revolve around the word money, and "manipulators" need to balance the boat so that they can sail on smoothly. And with the tension in Thailand over "that deal", IMOP, Thailand might win but may not be in FT hours. So no bet and watch the match better.

Singapore's performance in the last Asean (Tiger) Cup was better than this year. They are likely to meet Thailand in the Final, I will bet on Thailand to win big.
