Name 5 stocks that are good candidates for trading

I don't trade penny stocks because I find them too volatile and TA isn't very accurate on them.

 

... personal pref stocks for yr 2007 trading will be :

1) Hiap Seng Engineering

2) Wing Tai

3) Raffles Education

4)  ComfortDelgro

 

Geez, thanks for sharing! Hi Singaporegal, any potential TA plays from the penny stocks category too? Biosensors, China Energy, Genting. Yes no?

My trading period is around 3 to 5 days.

 

Good stocks for TA trading should have > 1 million volume everyday and be between $1 to $4.

Here are some on my list -

(6) ST Engineering
(7) Semb Mar
(8) Hyflux
(9) Noble Group
(10) SingTel

* This list doesn't mean they are good BUYs... they're just some stocks I constantly monitor to find good entry points.

 

Hi Dreamon, CRCT refers to Capital Retail China Trust -  recently issued and managed by Capitaland. IPO price at $1.13.  If I remember correctly  - lowest price traded was $1.56 and highest about $2.00.  Latest traded range about $1.75 to $1.80. For your information.

 

Why I feel that SCI has limited downside? In my own opinions only and open to discussions-

1st, there is this recent news on GST increase and Mr Lim is proposing employer-to-employee CPF to be up by no more than 3% (good move to retain good workers which oso good for company as they dun need to pay tax on these CPF for good workers retaining, is that correct? Any accountants can feel free to "slam" me on this as I not a business owner)

2nd, there is also some saying that they might "lower" corporate tax to "offset" something which I can't recall (= more cashflow, any accountants pls "slam" me if I wrong again, thanks)

3rd, this is purely my own opinions that this counter will "hit" $4.26 in 2007 (pls don't laugh at my lofty dreams as I had been averaging this baby up many many times..)

 

Short SembCorp?  No way...

If I want to go in, I'll buy now.  3.74 would be a good entry price.

 

Sembcorp downtrend by master, any punters wanna "short" (keke)? But in my own "feelings", I think the downtrend is "limited". Anyway, thanks for the call, and I think singaporegal also mention that this counter is downtrending so, thanks to her too.. Yea... one can easily overload oneself with too many favourite 'concubines' coz there seems to an abundance of good stocks at this moment... :) 

 

oh yea, sembcorp is good too. but back in the days when i was underaged and no money (dang it), i called a buy for my daddy at 1.57. so ah well, his profit.  

on a downtrend now tho.

 

What does CRCT stand for?

 

For me Sembcorp Industries, and Cambridge (for Jan 2007) as they mentioned something like probable issuance of new units 6 months from a certain date which I think is around Jan 2007, maybe that explains why this counter is rising to the 70s..  

 

heh heh. this little lady likes UIC too, but one mustn't be too greedy. :)

by FA and TA (I'll spare you the long story this time) it looks good tho.

short to medium term, my choice.

 

for china medical stock, my takes are C&O & Star. AsiaPharm is out because of temasek. Biosensors is out also because I personally dun believe in stent, still perfer open heart surgery if i have a clotted arteries.and furthermore, biomatrix approval will be delayed and by the time it get approved, market share will be totally control by the big players

 

AsiaPharm's still got at least one more spurt to go, I think.... :)

 

Thanks crazy_money for the list, a good start for me to do some research. Think these two counters are good candidates: Biosensors, AsiaPharm. What's your take, anyone?
