Pre-closing price

Hi,

When you 've waited whole day to buy but couldn't, you'd even pay a higher price than the asking price!   :)

interesting observation... actually I have never bothered to look at the buy-sell queues just before closing.

Maybe its human psychology? People patiently waiting out till the end of the day......but when the closing bell is near, the sellers get desperate to sell their stocks and the buyers desperate to buy in?

 

Why the queue during pre-closing so different?

Bid price many bids higer, ask price many bids lower.

Why the buyer so eager to buy at much higher price and the seller so desparate to sell at much lower price for the same counter?

Any one know what is going on during pre-closing?
