thanks for that allantanhc!
Ok i see, so 0.005 is the lowest! Thanks.
Probability, very low, obviously.
But given volatile oil prices, expected correction in the finiancial industry, uncertainty with coming US election, US economic slowdown, and overbought market conditions, possibility is there. Especially so when the DOW trades sideways for one more week, then the fear will grow, and anything can easily trigger a sell-off. (5 cens worth)
Thanks :-)
I have not held a covered warrant till its expiry date before. The principle of put warrant is that you pay a certain price upfront, to buy the right but not the obligation, to sell. So, in a worst case scenario, you should lose only your capital and not beyond. Because at the expiry date, you just "exercise your right" not to sell and your warrant is worth nothing then.
Hence, in this case, $0.005 should be the lowest you need to pay. However, you will stand to lose whatever you put in unless STI drops below 2450 by 29 Nov 2006 or someone buys from you at a higher price before that date. What do you think as the probability of that happening? Time is against this warrant now.
Hi , any one has any idea what is the theoretical lowest price that the warrant price go? isit $0.005? Or can it go lower?
