Sorry Scott, only have it in my email....*wink*
Where? Where? Send us the URL that has the picture!
Their robots don't sound that bad.
Omg, I've just seen the Sentosa IR design done up by capitaland and kerzner, its like a few blown up white coloured NTUC plastic bags tied up together!! pretty abstract but hilarious looking :-P
Hi Singaporgal,
Thank you for your help
Hi tonersweat,
Check out this old thread "Lets compare notes" under Trading Techniques that contains discussions that we had around TA and trading styles -

I still stand by those points I made. :)

Hi tonersweat,
During yesterday's Korean incident meltdown, I noticed Ho Bee was very resilient - because it's hardly affected by the bearishness. And today it resumed it's charge. I suppose this counter has very good upside promise.
Just an observation.

Hi scotty,
You've such a serious sense of humour! Anyway, you must've made quite a bit. But poor me, still see-sawing!

Hi allantan,
Too bad, humans are usually scared of losing when it goes down a bit, then sell, but after selling, it goes up again. That Korean incident came so suddenly!

Anybody can advise what to buy ?
Hi, Puntit,
I thought you did quite well for Hi-P recently? It went up after you indicated you wanted to buy at $0.86, I remember.
Can let me know which stock you buy or sell next time? I will do the opposite!
Hahaha... :) Joking lah...

Hi tonersweat and singaporegal,
It's so frustrating- whenever I buy, a stock immediately falls, why? Whenever I sell a stock, it shoots up immediately, why? Why, why, why?
Can someone enlighten me? :(

From my point of view, I think the Singapore government would not want both IRs to fall on foreign hands and leave the gambling problems to us. They would at least want one of the IRs to be owned partially by a local company. So my guess is, with Kepland out of the bid, Capitaland and Kerzner would had won the battle already.
Capitaland and Kerzner has submitted the bid for Sentosa IR today.Kerzner will be holding 60% stake and Capitaland 40%. Good luck to those holding Capitaland shares....
Although Keppel Land pull out of the Sentosa IR bid, the share price still goes up and higher than Capitaland - one of the reason is because of the shortage of office space. Keppel Land has more office space especially in the BFC project.
Hi Singaporegal
Thank you for giving me the prompt response. Is there any guideline for choosing share and look at TA, There are hundreds of share in the market.
I thought of using TA method, but I have no clue how to choose?
Please advise
Hi tonersweat,
I also used to trade based on instinct or rumours... then I lose big time. Now I trade mostly on TA only. Before I buy or sell, I look at the TA charts.
I think its better to have a methodology - TA or FA. You'll find that its easier to make $$ and losses are not that bad.

Hi Singaporegal
I am asking silly question. Do you trade share based on TA or FA or based on instinct judgment like me. I always make wrong decision either buy on high price . After I bought the share, price start dropping to 10 or 20 % . Another case whereby after I sold the share, share price start to raise tremedously.
I have no knowledge in TA or FA. I am paying high price to pay for tution(loose money) .
Please advise
Hi tonersweat,
I'm not too sure whats the reason. It could be as you say about the IR bid. Maybe others can shed some light on this?
