All modalities of investment are valid as our psychological makeup are all different. Technical charts are a guide and so are fundamentals. All technical indicators are lagging indicators and cannot fortell the future. An extreme example when all methods fail would be a pandemic of bird flu-but when will it occur?

thanks for sharing. guess we share different philosophies. i on the other hand believe that in stock trading we have to be as pessimistic as possible. i pull out of a long position at the slightest hint of trouble (even if i make a loss) and i buy only when i'm truly convinced (as much as possible) that the stock will rise in the short term. using this approach i have avoided bad trades. of course, i will miss out on opportunities as well because of my strict selection criteria. but overall my profit margin is pretty ok and i am making money from trading.

Generally speaking human beings are optimistic by nature-survival instinct. That is why bull markets last longer than bear markets.Pessimists seldom make money because they want proof but at the same time they do not lose money. If there is no risk there is no gain.Nothing is certain in this world-all is illusion- with the advent of the internet the real world will not be distinguishable from the virtual world..

If you are uncertain and need further proof you do nothing. If you are confident you buy. If you think it is a false break you sell short.

China hong the Erke brand of high tech sport shoes has finally broken through resistance at 116 cents. With the Beijing olympics in2008 and the Erke cup tennis tournament this year this high profile PRC's spors wear business looks promising. By the way the EU tariffs on shoes applies to exporters of leather shoes. As far as I am aware it is not contracted to leading overseas shoe manufacturers.

The EU tariffs on shoes may not apply to the ERKE brand of high tech sports shoes.. If it closes above 116 cents it signals a buy if you believe in charts-the target should exceed the last high of 130cents if the bull market is intact.
