every month now put in 2.5k into my trading account..by early next year i should have about 7.5k - 10k cash inside to at least hold the counters...
that will then be the real show

Try not to fight back immediately. The more you wish to fight, the more likely you are not able to analyse and invest properly especially when you start losing amount wish starts affecting your judgement. Its like gambling. Lose then take a break. Win then take and run, and watch before going back.
Some recommendations:
1) Take a step back and relax. before going back to the market.
2) Self-reflection why you have make the wrong trade.
3) Plan your strategy: ie if you believe in blue chips only, or never invest in s-chip, then keep to it. follow through your plan.
4) never use leverage instrument if you are not well-verse in it.
5) set realistic goal. 20% gain p.a. Constantly grow your wealth rather than looking for quick and short term gain. Contra in & out only if there is good opportunity. Not doing it every day.. You do not want to win 10k now and lose back 20k and eventually after 5 years when you look back.. wtf am I doing.. wasting so much time analysing stocks and buying and selling but only achieve overall losses in long term.. Then might as well buy into a bond fund which can give u 5% on a yearly basis with low stress.
My first step towards my fight back seems good to me and am sharing...
That is I take up more overtime to work...
In this way , you are too tired and no time to trade but rem to see opening and closing of market so don't lost the pulse of the market...
You will earn more money, shorten your time to build bullied, less time to think and feel shitty, work and rest and work... Best is if you still can find some time go gym workout or take A run... You will see the bigger picture trust me ...

Think of it, I don't have a gold mountain behind me and children still young so better don't ruan ruan lai. Kenan jialat jialat once by this market during my mid 20s is enough, will not let it repeat again especially now have mouth to feed. Hope all can more or less Huat from this market.

Funny how it seems....when the market favours us, we are in happy mode, but when it turns against us, we are in miserable mode. I have been trading for the past one year. I win big, I lost bigger. Within this past one year my losses were 80pct. I was most of the time on contra till sometime one month ago I stoop to measure my mountain to fall to a hill and I know gradually I'll see a desert. I must do something now. I asked myself Is this conflict part of me or else an evil force from without? I made a 360 degree turnover. I buy only fundamentally good stocks and only sell when I see a good margin in my favour, otherwise I'll hold till I see a plus. All good stocks have its ups & downs. Patience is what I have mastered the past one year. Fear & greed I've overcame. What I have lost in a year may take me 3 to 5 years to recover, hopefully less. I will wait it out........we cannot go against mr. market!!!

Trust me....it's very lonely depressing to be at that stage no matter your age. Friends, relatives and even family will avoid u....u will feel the whole weight onto u. Then u slowly recovered step by step from it. The worst part is u wished u are dead, that would be much easier then to be alive every day. Only hope to stay alive is if u can find someone eg supportive wife or loved one to hold on to u. If not....I'm dead and gone by now. Bro...please take a step away from it now and try to see how u can recover from this before its too late. Maybe it's not your lucky year for investment or trading. Just can't go against fate. After u recovered, u will be a better friendlier person.

Although my trading path have not reach there yet, but I believe if I continue my current trading style, I will reach there very soon...
