Anyone interested Tech Analysis Course

hi shawny17, I want to attend the course (for novice) also but cannot make it in Dec. Maybe will attend in Jan 07. Have you enrol for the Dec session if not how about Jan so that I can enjoy the 10% discount? Understand that there will be an increase in the fee after Dec.

allantanhc is right. TA works only if there's sufficient trading volume because it measures "herd instinct". Low volume counters give inaccurate readings. In fact, low price counters <$1 are pretty tough to predict too.

However, low volume or low price does NOT mean that a stock is no good. It just means that TA will find it difficult to predict.

TA is more accurate with volume. However, it does not mean counters with low volume are no good. Such counters could be tightly held by major share holders and it can easily subject to manipulation by these big players. Such counters also generally do not attract institutional investors (there are exceptions) and the masses. Hence, when you want to exit, you may not get to sell at the price you want. 



    Just my take on the point raised. 

 

Pardon for intruding but technical analysis is about analyzing stock market trend and price movement? But if there is low volume trading throughout the months for a counter then there is little technical analysis can be used to derive any conclusion and findings rite?

No wonder singaporegal always like to say insufficient volume trading hence hard to do a TA. But if no or little volume trading means that counter is no good? Hmmmm
