singaporegal,
SIFU, looks like your TA reading panned out right again.
I am impressed.
singaporegal,
Thanks....trends indicators seem to be yo yo-ing.
Will be interesting to see the outcome in a couple of weeks.
Hi shplayer,
I'm guessing its uptrending because the Acc/Dist and Chaikin are uptrending. You're right however that the RSI is downtrending now.
To me, its all probability. 2 out of 3 indicators say its uptrending, so I would think its a higher probability that its uptrending. However, because the RSI is going in the opposite direction, there is some uncertainity in this counter.

singaporegal,
Why do you say it is on a gradual uptrend/ Is it cos the Bollinger Bands are wide?
My take is that short term it may downtrend cos....
- Prices recently broke above upper Bollinger band indicating a possible trend reversal.
- The other indicators...AD, RSI, Chaikin, Williams...are downtrend.
Thank you.
Hi shplayer,
For this counter, its pretty tough to tell the time frame. I can't say... I can only guess that this one appears to be slowly going north.

singaporegal,
When you say it is on 'a long term gradual uptrend'...what is your timeframe? 10 days to 2 weeks?
Thanks
yah, growth kinda turns me off abit too, but as singaporegal says, and I do second that, will be a counter for long term investment. Anyway, all shares been snap up within 4 mins when it open at 12pm for sale...
Noted, Tks Pika.
Yeah... its C38U
Can anyone advice the symbol for this item, isit C38U?
In above placement case, how do we confirm if we got the share when we place through ATM?
This one may be on long term gradual uptrend.
Sorry, my earlier thread....point 3 should read as....'Share price at that time was about 30% premium of NAV.....
red1721,
Like you, I too use to hold CMT...but I sold it prior to the recent post election downturn.
The reason I sold was based on fundementals. .....the potential yield for 2006 was about 4.6% at the time I sold.
- FD interest rates can be secured at about 3%.
- The premuim yield of 1.6% does not justify the potential risk of capital loss (of course, there is also possiblity of capital gain).
- Share price at that time was about 30% of NAV (not too sure of this figure but its about that)
- There are other REITS paying better yields.....with less demanding premiums/discounts on NAV.
Having said that, ask yourself this question...2006 yield is 4.9%, 2207 yield is 5.0%..=> 2% yield growth. Are you happy with this forecast 2% growth?
Hi singaporegal,
CMT = Capitamall Trust
what stock is CMT? what's the full name?
I've sold my previous cmt at 2.40 last week, now they are offering some placement stocks at 2.30 today...and only TODAY...any advise from anyone if its a good price to go in? forecast yield is 4.9 for 2006 and 5.0 for 2007...
