STAG is oso not oni for IPO, but oso for ppl who so happen to bot at such and such px, then the next few short days after pay up, px went beyond ur cost px. hoping to sell to make some profit and can oso mean stock is not for holding on too long. Can be a day and/or a wk.
Sold on d 1st day, that good of U. Good to stag is those who got d luck to get a few lots (shares), hope (actual is wish) to off load (sell) it on the 1st day which give some profit to make some kopi $$$. Like the rest of all sgx listed stocks. Chinapdye px rebounded (Short term) due to Dow last nite, up by 101 points and oso it help from regional green index. Stag is recommended oni when stock usually don have a very strong story line to tell or follow up, unlike Synear, Synear is a stock which can hold it own story line by itself ( Big news, new line of products, consumer play for olampic 08 and so on) for as long as ppl like (actually the word is acceptance) it and it all depend alot on other circumstance too.
Don't be lulled into the misconception that with Temasek and a fund buying the shares, it will trend upwards over the short term or that they would hold it over the long term. Temasek unloaded Olam after it climbed from its IPO price of 70 cents to about $1.40, and LMA after it dipped below its IPO price of 88 cents and recovered to about $1.00 (correct me if my facts are wrong) after one year. Since then, Olam has become range bound at about $1.40 and LMA below its IPO price of 88 cents (worst, it dipped to 65 cents at one point). Please be cautious!!!

Since Dow is up 101 points, sti is all copying dow and Chinapdye maybe up oso today, my 2 cents worth.

Support can be seem coming.. T+3-5days, today down on continue profit taking....closed $0.35 on vol of 15.2 mil share traded. Look like 2 cts worth- i mean there is nothing to short at..for shortise.
Well!! ti is within my expectation for a start, traded within $0.365 to $0.40 cents, for far so good. :)))
