So guys don't be disappointed ..... It's all expected like I discuss about QE3 in June and July .... QE 3 will be announced in sept together with actions from ECB ......

However Everyone has to know 3 scenario.

1) if market remain resilience and refuse to correct..... There won't be much upside once fed and ECB finally act. It's likely to have a short pump and dump..... And fall... Reason global economy slump ......

2) if there's a 5-10% correction it is a healthy move ..... Where they flush out the weak players ..... Then stock market could go higher .....

3) if market remain too bullish and price keep running .... It may setup a scenario which u see quite similar in last 3 months of 2007 ....... But it's unlikely ...... As many CPF investment account has been milk .....

Watch the Dow support at 12,600.

Market will only tank if this support is broken, till that happens, buy on dip.

Good Luck :p

ECB unlikely to announce anything major. As any major moves will need Germany approval ..... Therefore they will likely announce their support in euro and a proposal ......

In stocks, if one invests at the wrong time, one loses one's shirt...

But if one punts (ie.bets) at the right time, one makes money...  Smiley

Now, I know there are still so many veterans around, yes it was indeed very painful ! Unfortunately that crisis
experience on Clob was not a typical one as it was suspended and left no one able to do anything.
Good luck! guys.

karma may get them on behalf of all those who lost their money during the clob saga.if they never said sorry or felt repentant....it was indeed a painful time...especially since that time a lot of people here had   invested in malaysian shares...

At least now i found somebody remember the Clob share, i think the worst was not that crisis, it was the quarreling of our Mr L and their Mr M
that finally led to closing of Clob, we were forced to sell to a particular company at a deep discount after stop trading for years ! What a shame to those authorities who started the Clob and ended with this eventuality, did not even express sorry to those ppl who lost their life time saving.
shame on them!!

Only when more people play shares they will have more profits...

If less people play shares, they where got good profits,

they might as well close down... common sense... lol.

But we must really pity those who play shares...

tedsokny bro, let's  do our part to warn everyone around us not to gamble with  stocks. the 20% of investors who make money are those who  are like warren buffett,  invest for growth and dividends, those who trade frequently (the 80%) win some, but lose back, or more.

People still feel the pain when  recalling their painful, nightmarish experiences  of clob, asia fnancial crisis, 2008 crash etc... when a lot of them  went bankrupt, forced to sell their business, house  and car.

and now SGX and SIAS want to suck in more people to play stocks.
