Body of man found in Bedok Reservoir - AGAIN !

well...it seems that there are many ppl rushing to buy those condos and ECs build ard that area...seems like they like near watery grave as new concept in their housing choice? perhaps it bring them more $$ luck in term of fengshui  ?!!??!?

 

Bedok reservoir is such a nice scenic spot. It is a pity that there has been so many suicides there. It gives the whole place a moody feeling.

SINGAPORE: The body of a man has been found in Bedok Reservoir - the seventh death in the reservoir since June 2011.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the body was found at about 5.20pm on Saturday. It was found about 20 metres from the shoreline.

The identity of the man is not known and investigations are ongoing.

Police were alerted by a caller at about 1.00pm on Saturday, that a man was seen going into the reservoir waters.

Channel NewsAsia understands that an eyewitness had described the man to be in his 30s, with curly hair, glasses and a tanned complexion.

Civil Defence divers have been combing the waters for the entire afternoon.

Recently, a man was arrested for a suicide attempt there earlier this month on January 18.
