I can't advise sifu... because many will have different views.
      And thus cause much unnecessary arguments...
              But my advice to stock newbies is always this:-
                        Do not play shares (unless you have spare money to lose)...

Stocks is not " sng-sng" (main2)...
    Before you are confident, you usually just " tikam2" (play small)...
              But when you later become very skillful, you will be very confident.
                      When you become confident, you will not want to play for " kachang" (nuts),
                                because when you are confident, you will say it's 'waste time' to play small.
                                          This is the reality of stocks... many want to make a killing in stocks...

i think another thing is to start with a small bet..
so it wont affect our emotion, especially the noobs like me :)

Shorting is like driving a Ferrari or a Lambo...
      Do not try and accelerate before basic driving
              skills are learned. Although all is betting, one 
                        must also know how to bet properly...

Be carefull, shorting need more skill and more focus.
And if U try to short now, 50% 50%. U must know when and what to short.
 
Is not about commission,
Find the one that U like best.
