Yeah, nevertheless, invest with care whether before or after. Most important thing is the power to hold !!!

Questions should be asked before any investments and not after. Always do your homework first !

My personal opinion is, if you dont want to buy is ok, but if you bought no need to sell unless you need the cash.

OCBC 1st, then Cap 2nd. Both can be applied through the ATM.

Cap 5.1% after 10 years they will pay 3-Month Singapore Swap Offer Rate plus 2.5%, at present it represents 3.5% which is still good assuming this present situation.

Am I right to say that OCBC Bk Cap 5.1%NCPS is from those bought from OCBC directly in the 1st round while OCBC Bk 5.1% NCPS is applied throw ATM and got it thru balloting (2nd tranch) ?

Understand that for OCBCBK 5.1% NCPS will continue to pay dividend of 5.1% even if the Bank don't redeemed it back after 10 yrs, as for OCBC Cap5.1% NCPS, the bank will pay about 3.5% if they don't redeemed after 10 years time. correct me if i m wrong.Smiley

Because of the perception that it is not as good as OCBCBk5.1%NCPS 100 since its from the Capital Bank which is its subsidiary and not the main bank itself.

But don't understand why it is always lower as compared to OCBCBk5.1%NCPS 100

Just like to add that not only will you get the fixed dividend every March & September (for 10 years), you can probably sell at more than $100 per unit when the stock market recovers in future.

No lah bro, this time is pro rated.

From next March and Sept every year you will get 2.55% of $20K each time. Just collect 1 full year of 5.1% and you should be quite comfortable.

Invested 200 units, total cost $20,000 , only got $67 dividend back, based on market price now left about $19,200, paper loss $800. bad investment! Smiley

OCBC Capital bank is the subsidiary of OCBC. ultimately still the same. their dividend payout date is different. but same twice yearly.
