Midas Holdings' subsidiary, Jilin Midas Aluminium Industries Co, has secured 17.7 million euros (S$30 million) worth of international contracts for two major train projects in Europe and 75.9 million yuan (S$15.5 million) worth of metro orders for the China market.

The two international contracts will see Midas supply aluminium alloy extrusion profiles and certain fabricated parts for two major train projects in Europe with delivery expected to take place between 2013 and 2017.

The China contracts were awarded by the group's 32.5 per cent owned joint-venture company, Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Co.

The first contract, worth 10.8 million yuan, is for the supply of aluminium alloy extrusion profiles for 56 train cars to the Shenzhen Metro Line 4 project.

 

Yes, by next year it will be easily back to Sgd. 2.0. So I start buying today onward! (CAVEAT EMPTOR)

Singapore, May 14, 2008 - Midas Holdings Limited (“Midas” or the “Group”) (麦达斯控股有限公司) today announced that the Group reported a net profit of S$7.7 million for the first three months ended March 31, 2008 (“1QFY08”), up 15.7% from S$6.6 million in the previous corresponding period (“1QFY07”).

 

Fundamentally sound counter.  Problem of crisis of confidence.  A matter of time before it moves.  Support at 1.04/1.05.  Upside potential good in view of strong order book.

Bollinger band first sign of opening and price on top blue line, however chailkin is heading south but make a small u turn and william heading north and touches "0". Present price is still way off its historic high by 50% . Any TA care to anlayse and advise is it time to buy?
