Based on 3Qtr Sep 30 = Cash inside the company USD 30,578,000 No of Shares: 716,889,000 NTA: US16.00 cents (This is a no debt company, CEO in keypad business for more than 20 years ex-San Teh CEO)
Cash Value Worth: USD 4.26cents @ 1.49 Rate to Sin 6.35cents. (Value Buy as it is not Liquid and corner)
Profit Warning for the Qtr4, but will be contain with first 3Qtr of profit i think..
Management please buyout the company, u offer 7cent for takeover will still get 6.35 cash back.
Then u can decide whether to sell the stock, debtor, factory and building as it is all for free..
Use SIN0.5cent to buy US10cent worth of asset.. (Fire sales takeover price, re-list later for more gain) =D

Erm. Meaning?? The USD will drop drastically or sales figure of Memtech. The CEO is a prudent man i think, based on how he run San teh before i am quite confident. ( Or u got insight on any news, please enlight me)
Electronic imanufacturing is every quarter also ask for price reduction from Supplier that the normal. All electronic products are sold these way, new launch are price at big premium, and reduce until the product cycle end. (About 1-2year normal). But supplier sell at a higher price first, cause it involve in R&D and mould design, Preproduction Run and then finally Mass Run. Buying new electronics products earlier at Production Run will usually cost more. When they start mass run hence the price for the SD card comes down.
I can quote LCD TV, Camera, Mobile Phone, MP3 and many more.

I still remember I ever paid SGD$195.00 for 256mb SD card!...
Now we can get 8Gb for less than $40...
Next year maybe we can get 16Gb for the same price...
3QTR Annoucement on 10 Nov - See if the cash balance will still increase $30Mil USD. Good for alot of company to use in these turmoil times. I am betting it will be a delisting, or takeover target, currently pricing still very attractive in my opinion.
If not 1.3 cents dividend based on my buy price 5.5 still very attractive compare to alot of counters.
Ya precisely 35% of its net asset. Which mostly is in cash. What i am paying for the shares is to buy the cash in the company.
I used $1 to buy the company and it got almost 2 dollars cash inside. WB did mention befote this is a good example of a stock which nobody wants
This counter is for long-term investment. Its business is profitable. It paid good dividend : 1.3 cts for each of last 2 fys. For the current fy, half yr's EPS = 0.2 US cts; net asset per share = 15.8 US cts & very low gearing ratio. Based on the closing price of 8 cts per share and a possible dividend of 1 cent per share for this fy, the return is 12.5%, and the share price = 35% of its net asset (based on US $1 = 1.45 S$).
Ya agree it is stagant. Not worth punting for short term.
But the cash in the balance can buy the company ler.
Havnt include the net current asset at USD$66 million vs the market cap SIN$45 million.
The fixed asset are all value at $0. Profitable business going for $0, no logic. Management of Memtech pls consider to take the company private, no need to pay listing fees. Sell the company to a VC and list elsewhere.
Haiz if only i got 50min sin, i will buy the company up and liquidated it. Sad
Hope they give a big fat dividend, and all my investment will be free. Hee Hee.
(this is purely based on my view, and long term holding counter only is not suitable for punters with short term investing ) Use $1 to make $2 and not use $1 to make 10cent. My investment views
I Bought average at 5.5 cents for this counter. Market cap is about 45 million. IPO afew years back is about 50 ++ cents i think
They are holding 30Million USD Cash with virtual not much loan. ISO and TS company selling plastic to MNC company like flextronics. The balance sheet look too good to resist. Althought the stock is not very liquid. The potential is still good after i take a 30% forcast deline cut in their sales revenue.
No punter like the stock, but i think they might as well delisted the counter and sell the business to VC i think will still fetch a higher valuation based on currently situation. The CEO is Chung Wen Fu who manage San teh ltd before. What do u guys think any comment?
