In practice, ie. in real life...
the frustration of holding on indefinitely to stock that is stagnant or declining week by week is not so easy to bear.

That's living and holding...

 

I think dun have to worry too much about it. Asiapharm is a strong growth company with good fundamentals. In time, it is bound to receive the attention it needs. Its rolling PE of 16 makes a good consideration as compared to other pharmaceuticals, and this is coupled with her strong potential. Unless you are a short term trader, just hang on to it.

 

Yeah, seems like it's lacking strength. 

 

Looks like it is about to breakdown through the strong floor (0.705) anytime now...

Asiapharm Group (S$0.69) - Relentless pursuit of growth

We believe Asiapharm?s stock has been over-penalised since its announcement of disappointing 4Q06 results. Successful integration and fresh contributions from oncological products are expected to provide strong future catalysts. Asiapharm could also target drug makers with a strong presence in the OTC distribution market. Successful clinical trials of the CMNa in Singapore could, in addition, provide a fast track to Stage 2 of the US FDA clinical trial. We have raised our FY08 earnings estimate by 3% as we factor in: 1) further cost savings in R&D; and 2) sales growth of oncological products. Maintain Outperform and target price of S$0.96, still based on DCF (WACC of 13%) valuation.

 

Hmm, it's time for bargain hunting for this stock!!!

I loaded up a few more lots yesterday before market close.. this counter could rebound back to 0.805 - 0.82...

 

I would just wait for a while. Wait for the effect of the new regulation on the earning.
Seems that now the environment is no longer very condusive, as evident by the owner of the drug companies that was sold to Asiapharm a while back citing that the environment not that condusive anymore.

Pricing is dictated by gov, and i believe it will eat into margin.

 

I am thinking of getting a few more lots ... as the price is getting low now.

Would you do the same ... ?

 

should be doing ok in the next few months...

anyway already paid hard cash... so can wait patiently...

I would presume they do selling based on major events happening or when they feel the price is high enuff. Like say Budget coming out, financial results released by companies, some major news like that time no sand sell to spore, company secures some deal worth millions of dollars etc etc will excite new ppl to go in. So if those bb already buy in way before they are there to wait all these buyers to buy in while they sell out.

Very often when bb identify some potential stocks they tend to accumulate SLOWLY day by day silently in the background as quiet as possible :)

Stocks at the end of the day is about buyer and seller in it's PUREST form. There must be willing buyer and seller before a deal can be sealed. So when do you become a seller and when do you become a buyer is an art and science IMHO. But I am still far from being a full time trader as I am not experienced enuff but I am learning day by day though.
