hi,
this stock is moving north now. volumn up, px up, good sign.
Increases in sales were seen in all 3 business segments. First, Value Added Distribution Service sales of radiation equipment surged 16-fold. The benefits of sole distribution rights for Siemens and Fujifilm's radiation products announced late in 2005 are beginning to be felt. These 2 rights are expected to contribute RMB80m to revenue in FY06. Secondly, sales of higher margin Proprietary Products surged 71% yoy on completion of a contract to the Sichuan Province Commission of Population and Family Planning. Thirdly, 2Q06 Sales Service revenue jumped 14-fold yoy. With > 6000 customers, Sales Service revenue will continue to see a steady rise from the current 5.1% contribution to topline as more customers take on extended service contracts.
Large projects are important for growth. These will increase product visibility in hospitals , and in turn open doors for future opportunities in servicing contracts and equipment sales.
Management has shown progress in the execution of its growth strategy, scaling up its operations in China by appointing more local resellers and agents. It is also confident of obtaining SFDA clearances by end 06 for the rest of its own ultrasound and radiation products in the pipeline that will contribute to earnings in 07.
It is likely to tap on the 300,000+ medical facilities in China to grow its earnings, but it may not be able to meet the 60% growth yoy needed in 2H06 to meet OCBC's revenue estimate. Hence, OCBC is lowering its price target to $0.64.
Thursday px down quite fast at last 30 min. of trading in relatively high volumn. One hour later very good result in SGX posting. Those who sold their share at that period really heartache.Today the share went up 3 cents. in quite good volumn. Closed at 47.5 cents.Maybe Monday up a little bit more.if Dow more north tonight.
Have to be patient with Landwind.
Read Luzhou's results at sgx.com. They were extremely good and p/e is not high at this point. There seems strong support at 50c. It would be good to read on company's future plans and that will determine price movement. The market always sees the future and ignores present or past good results
Luzhou and China Sun seem to in the same business of corn starch, etc
yah... like I said... W%R is quite sensitive to price change. If you look at the prices in the past 2 weeks, it dipped and then rose again.
It is quite difficult to understand Luzhou's W%R is -10 indicating overbought !
Luzhou deals with sweetener and corn starch, etc, Longcheer manufactures mobile phone and Landwind deals in Ultra-sound and hospital equidment. Which product has more prospect ?
All share counters look lifeless, waiting for Wall St signal ?
Looks like Landwind may retrace up to at least 50c using fibonacci retracement.
More info regarding Landwind from Gallen thread, just copy here for easy reference
Extracted from my blog http://kelongstocks.blogspot.com Fundamental Analysis Value added distribution services sales increased by 57.3% partly due to Landwind obtaining de facto sole distribution rights for Fujifilmâ??s FCR and DRY Imagers equipment for seven provinces in the PRC on 19 Dec 2005. Landwind is also de facto sole distributor for Siemens and has distributor rights for Philips. Landwind proprietary products sales increased by 67.6%, attributable mainly to added emphasis on Landwind black and white ultrasound and an award of a tender from a customer. 7 more proprietary products are to be rolled out for 2006, Landwind plans to increase sales of proprietary products as a percentage of total sales to improve gross margins. Also revenue growth to be driven by increased overseas exports to countries/continents like India, Africa and Central Europe. CE Mark Approval for new product NeuCrystalâ?¢ C30 will also boost Landwind's reputation for proprietary products. 1Q FY06 figures lower than 4Q FY05 figures due to seasonality effect where lower sales are recorded in the first two months of the financial year as hospitals seldom place sales orders during the Lunar New Year festive seasons in January and February. ................continued at my blog
CIMB target price for Landwind is 80c.
Oh.. I'm sorry if I confuse you.. I use AD to refer to Accumulation/Distribution.
Advance and Decline are different things.
Advance refers to the number of stocks that increase in price at the end of a trading day. Decline refers to the number of stocks that decrease in price at the end of a trading day.

Thanks Sporegal. I have just read AD line but the A stands on no. of advances while D stands no.of declines.
oh... see the thread on "Cool Stuff man!"... .under the ShareJunction forum.... I wrote something on Accumulation/Distibution there.
I don't use OBV at all...can't say much about that.
I rely mainly on Accumulation/Distribution. But I believe both indicators make use of the trading volume in their formulas. So in that sense, it could be similar.

Hi sporegal, I remember you mentioned about Acc/Dist. How is this Acc/dist calculated ? Dies it has the same effct as OBV (On Balance Volume) ?
The trough on 8/6 (37c) was lower than on 29/5 (38c) while the RSI went up from 30 on 29/5 to 30+ on 8/6 shows divergence. This may indicate a reversal towards uptrend.
