usually when a company proposes a stock split or bonus shares, it would usually boost the company's share price in the run up to the stock split because of the benefits of the higher liquidity and marketability and cheaper shares after the split, which makes it cheaper for more investors to buy the shares. However, in light of the current poor market sentiment, i doubt there will be much impact or bost to share price. hope this helps.

East, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to fabricate and construct

some of the Grandstand, and Corporate Suites for the upcoming FORMULA 1? event

in Singapore.

Singapore GP Pte Ltd, the race promoter for the FORMULA 1? SingTel Singapore

Grand Prix, has appointed Kingsmen to construct the Grandstands and Corporate

Suites at the Pit Grandstand, Pit Entry and Exit as well as the Stamford Grandstand

and Suites, which will be located opposite One Raffles Link. Work on the project is

expected to commence immediately. The contract is valued at about S$5 million

annually, and will run for the next five years.

Mr Benedict Soh, Executive Chairman of Kingsmen, said: ?We are delighted to be

chosen by Singapore GP to be one of the contractors for the inaugural FORMULA 1?

event. This new contract further strengthens our good track record in the industry, and

reaffirms the high standards we are able to consistently deliver. Moving forward, we will

continue to explore more business opportunities to maximize growth for the Group.?

The new contract is expected to contribute positively and materially to the earnings per

share and net tangible assets per share of the Company and its subsidiary companies

Volume is rather low and hard to speculate large amount.

Anyway got it at 54cents on 29th Nov for longer term holding. You can't really trade this stock on large quantity therefore it's good to keep based on its fundamental.

KINGSMEN SECURES PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD CONTRACT WORTH S$5.5 MILLION

The Board of Directors of Kingsmen Creatives Ltd. (?the Company?) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kingsmen Exhibits Pte Ltd, has been awarded by the Public Utilities Board, a contract for the interior works to exhibition areas at Marina Barrage, Singapore (the ?Project?). The Project, with a contract sum of approximately S$5.5 million, is expected to be completed by June 2008. The Project is expected to contribute positively and materially to the earnings per share or net tangible assets per share of the Company and its subsidiary companies for the next financial year ending 31 December 2008. None of the Directors has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project. As far as the Directors are aware, none of the controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project.

this counter has been cheonging for the past mth...n no one in SJ is talking abt it, or interested in it,weird....it's high time cityneon plays catch up w kingsmen...both gona benefit w the MICE boom in Asia.

 

With the F1 and IRs coming to S'pore and the Tourists Promotion Board new energy to draw more Visitors, Kingsmen should be in a good position to capture a piece of the Singapore-kueh.

Nothing big as far as i know. Just pure punting and technical play. Broke out from prev high, positive MACD, and supported by surge in volume.

 

any news on this counter. it had surged 20cents in just 3 days!!!

 

  Picture looks good. However, this stock is very thinly traded. Buy if you are thinking of keeping it as it may not be easy to get out easily at the price you want.

 

Kingsmen Creatives, an interior design company specializing in exhibitions and showrooms, said that it has about $86m worth of confirmed contracts as of end-September.



These include the i-Space Exhibition and Nanotechnology Exhibition worth about $10m and over $7m worth of interior projects at Vivo City.



It said that the contracts will contribute positively to its financial performance this year.
