Juken Technology Limited together with its subsidiaries announced that the severe flood in Thailand does not physically affect our Thailand plant. However, the severe flood has caused supply chain disruption to our operations in Thailand , Malaysia and India . Customers’ orders from our subsidiaries in Thailand, Malaysia and India have been directly affected due to the flood which affected the operations of certain customers in Thailand and indirect affected due to the overall supply chain disruption affecting some of our customers in Malaysia and India. At present, the duration and extent of flood remains uncertain, and it is not possible to assess the duration of supply chain disruptions.(S$0.712, -0.578%)

Great set of results.   Excluding the negative goodwill, Juken did about 2c of eps, or a PE of 8.6x.   The results statement says that they will experience moderate growth in most segments, and together with a full 12 months in the stepper motor business, will deliver higher earnings in 2011 than 2010.   To be that confident this early in the year sounds to me like they are going to have another whopping year.   This is a business in transition, and the brokers haven't picked up on it.   Give it a few brokers to back it, and there's another 50% upside here, I reckon, without the company even breaking a sweat.

Hi, I wish I know it for sure but no. What I gain then was that they have a very reliable client who order high quality automobile part with good margin and prompt in payment with also some other types of sale; their business also begin to show +ve since after their RTO and they said they were very sure that the biz is going to be better soon and some other tea session chatting which one would benefit when one was there. At that time, many companies were raising fund and I was worried about how the future of those companies since after the crisis. and the plastic related industries too.

I was having quite a bit of paper loss and then I bought some back at 9cts after the AGM, regretted didn't buy warrant but did apply more when it was issued. Now I am sitting on profit.

At then, I forsee the appreciation in capital gain, well, if I am not wrong, they are serious biz man unlike some unscrupulous china firms listed here, they will share their gain with shareholders.

I attended a China firm's AGM (very disappointing one, but sorry for not telling you which one), As I was not able to get any clear words from the CEO about the future; every year he was giving that same kind of ambigious remarks that I didn't bother to chat with him in the tea session but overheard a few of it's staff talking among themselves in a laughing way, without any fear of letting us heard it though it's not too loud---saying."huh, still(obviously me) asked about the future, scary men" kind of comment. That showed how bad that kind of list company is, from the head to the tail..very wary about china firms

Salute, thanks for the insight for it's AGM.

they gave out dividend of 0.13c, 24% of FY2009 net profit last year.

do you foresee greater FY2010 dividend yield since 39 fold increase of 1H2010 net profit?

Attended it's AGM, chatted with it's CEO and it's team at tea session. As friendly and caring and genuine as the CEO of United Envirotech, sharing their view and giving the shareholders "great" confidence in their biz.

Still hold on to its warrant and most of it's mother shares

Read the FY2009 financial highlights.

NAV 23.82c with continued demand driven by auto sector as well as non-auto sector.

If 1H2010 already 39 fold increase of net profit, FY2010 result maybe working hard to chiong and chiong more...

Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund

Emerges as Substantial Shareholder

of SGX-Listed Juken

SINGAPORE, 17 August 2010

“Group”) has announced that the Juken Technology Limited (“Juken” or thePemberton Asian Opportunities Fund

(“Pemberton”) has become a substantial shareholder of the Singapore

Exchange-listed manufacturer of high-precision automotive and plastic

moulding components.

The fund, domiciled in Cayman Islands and managed out of Singapore, bought

an additional three million shares yesterday, bringing to 15 million shares or

6.69% its stake in Juken. The 5% threshold was crossed when the fund bought

one million shares on 11 August.

Juken’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Wong Keng Yin, said, “We are pleased to

have attracted institutional investors such as the Pemberton Asian

Opportunities Fund. It underscores the confidence the investment community

has in the growth strategies of the Group.”

Juken this month announced a 39-fold increase of net profit for the six months

ended 30 June (“1H2010”) to S$2.6 million compared to S$66,000 in 1H2009

and said sales rose across the board for all nine manufacturing facilities in six

countries on pent-up demand for its plastic injection moulding, mould design

and fabrication.

The results included a first-time recognition of the stepper motors business and

assets it acquired recently from The Swatch Group of Switzerland.
