Buying-In. That means no more selling is allowed and trading on this counter has been suspended. If they did not suspend, then people can continue to sell and on settlement date, they would not have shares to deliver.

Anyway, its doing well under the new ticker JasperInv, up 2 cents from yesterday's price. Do post your messages under the new thread titled "New Beginning" as that is the actual one that has started trading today.

Cheers

also not worth to buy from open market and incurring so much commission just for the 5 lots @1.5cents.  That's my view.

Has anyone analysed the fair value of this counter, considering the recent right share proposed and them venturing into the oil exploration business?  Please shed some light on the potential impact of the share price if no one take up the right issue as it seems to be no incentive to do so.  Would there be dilution of share price, post right issue closure?

Yes, the minimum cost to round up to board lots is just subscribe 5000 rights and eventually add up to 75000 shares and end up to 3000 shares after consolidation.

I'll give the rights a miss if I can get on the open market at 0.015.

If  I remember correctly, the company mentioned that funds/institution has already agreed to take up all the shares that are not subscribed by shareholders. Not sure if they will back out or not. Just for info only. Vested but not an inducement to buy or sell.

First, a big thank to all for replying to my post.

If buy 0.015 and 0.02 i.e. 33% gap. and to save brokerage fees does not make sense either. I hope i did not hurt anyone by this post, maybe there are something which i dont know or understand.Thank for your patience. and thank for replying. Personnally, speculating not invester.

This one long ago bought at 0.01c and sold at 0.03 for nice profit, but it seem like they are doing something good for the coy and worth taking a look. Ready to speculate again on this one. No long or mid term for me.

In the case of entitled shareholders, subscribing your rights instead of buying from the market saves you the brokerage fee. Hope this helps.

Good Morning terencefok, thank you very much for your reply.  I am undecided whether to load more from the market directly cos worry that after the consolidation, the share price may drop further especially in such market. I am holding 1 million share at average cost of 2 cents.

Hi cheongwee, yes, you are right that one should buy from the market at 1.5 cents rather than to subscribe for the rights at 2 cents.

Good question. I have 1,000,000 shares at 0.0325 and 500,000 shares at 0.035, wanted to apply but got no money. Anyway, still holding, cos I looked through the circular quite a few times with regards to the operations of Neptune. On average, they can lease out their rigs for 200,000 to 300,000, in US $ each, per day. The "Sedeco 708", hoped I typed correctly, is capable of reaching deaper below the sea, so might lease out for at least US$400,000/day. I also checked the minimum remaining life for the rigs and their current market value, so depreciation might not be that high, unless they want to write-down over a shorter period, or adopt a higher depreciation in the earlier years of use. But depreciation would still be only a small part of the rental fees they receive.

Hi Senior,

I am so confused with the right issue and ordinary share.  Pls advise if presently I have 95 lots of ordinary share, to round by block of 25lots. can I just accept 5 lots of right issue from this exercise. So that after consolidation I will have 4 lots. Is that how it work ?

As the last line in the presentation says it will diversify shareholder base and attracts institutional fund, it is worth to hold on.

To avoid subcription complexity, u should round up your holding to 25 lots, 50 lots, 75 lots etc
