Oh, i haven't gotten into it before just looking for 3-day contra opportunities lately. Thought this one has potential now. But i'm very inexperienced so no clue whether that makes sense...

Yes ignore the sound but did u cash out when it was> 14cts? Otherwise got caugfht liao..I just sound note of caution as I was lucky to escape for this JES and hence don't want fellow forummers to get caught in JES..wish u luck

Good move by JES to diversify into commodities/materials. These materials will be in great demand in the future as China  upgrades into a developed country

JES: Acquiring 30% Stake In Mineriver For S$127 Million.



Mineriver in process of acquiring mineral exploration rights, and later the mining rights, for metals and minerals, including Magnesium and Nickel, in Xinjiang, China, to consider future listing. Acquisition staggered in three tranches, Mining value of the relevant assets estimated from Joint Ore Reserves Committee report to be not less than S$60 billion, measured plus indicated excluding inferred, for JES to invest and own a stake up to 30%. In line with Group's strategy to have a more diversified portfolio of assets, thereby diversifying industry risk to build sustainable, long term revenue streams for the Group."

" JES: Secures Up To US$40 Million Financing From US Fund.
JES International Holdings Limited has entered into a Loan and Maintenance Agreement with an US-based private investment fund. Under the Agreement, the Fund will extend a loan facility amounting to a maximum of US$20.0 million for three years at a one-time upfront fee of 5% and an annual maintenance fee of 5% per annum. JES also has an option for an additional US$20 million under the same conditions, if approved by the Fund subsequently. The Group is expecting to utilise the funds available for working capital purposes and any potential merger and acquisition opportunities that may comes along..."

Report says that only those big shipyards gets contract. many small ones whom can't get business might be forced to close.

Hopefully   JES is not one of those..................................

Even now don't ever average down best to avoid completely will go < 10cts like sinotel,sinostar,etc

Avoid better,upside the most 16cts..then will drop back..recalled a few years..one analyst from DBS Vickers claim jem..it shot tom 38cts and most trapped..was luck to hve sold 35-37 all buying 24-25 ..after that it was downhill all the way...that time it achieved record profits,now in record losses..ask yrslf downward pressure greater...not vested anymore..just my frank advic
