Seems like the RSS exercise approval is a foregone conclusion. Though it would require the SSHs to back David's plan.

Hopefully this Ching Kay is like the one in September or the very same. Early trading hours let price slip then later in the day push up to close green :)

david chen dawei will be very cautious not to repeat the same mistake as predecessor Bio-Treat has done by over-committing by expanding too fast. End up with huge pile of debt that david helped to clear up. It is a good sign that david knows that biz has to be built up slowly bit by bit, at what hankore can afford to,  instead of  flying to the sky hastily by following what others are doing. Maybe other players have the capability to do so, then let them be. If feel that hankore is not on par with industry players, why not consider buying SIIC, Hyflux etc? At least u covered half of your total 40k innopac losses with a 20k gain in hankore ST. Im still in mirage deep  shit which hankore has yet to be able to cover for me.  No turkey. As i have said, if hankore cant break 7c convincingly then no run. Fake  one this round.

They already took out a 50 million loans from DBS via the MTN. The water and waste treatment industry is undergoing rapid consolidation right now. If hankore does not buck up, it will be left behind. There is such a thing as opportunity costs. Yes I agree that hankore should not expand for the sake of expanding. Though sometimes, the costs of doing nothing as the industry undergoes rapid consolidation might mean that hankore might miss out on contracts with provincial governments in future. Let's hope David has got a plan. My portfolio still consists of 50 % Hankore. Gonna have to reduce that percentage either by buying other stocks or selling hankore.

Only use cash margin.. Had to adjust my finances after spending 40k picking up Innopac, which is now only worth 12k. So sold a lot at 7cts plus and have been collecting since it dropped below 6.9cts. Collecting bit by bit so not very dangerous, plus have spare cash also in case need to top up variation account.

But seriously, am really interested in what David says. He'd better have a jolly good reason for throwing a spanner into the works.

I will check out AIMS over the weekend.

Let's see how CK play the shares tomorrow. Kanchiong spiders may sell to provide opportunity to buy. CK may push up before consolidation to make HK tongers happy and to build base. CE

You can't exactly call our fears irrational. I have never seen a stock immediately post consolidation hold its own. Perhaps you can enlighten us with an example. Of course, I am in a different situation from many of you as I hold many Hankore shares on cash margin, like the directors of the three si lang counters. So naturally I had not much choice but to release quite a bit over the last two days. The number of scripts I am personally holding in CDP is xxx lots while those on margin, xxxx lots.

Well, will wait for the SGM and see what David has to say about his proposal. Hope he gives us a good reason. Like I said, funds can invest in penny stocks. They are not barred from buying them. If Hankore followed the valuations of typical water treatment companies like SIIC, it will be trading at around 10cts. And judging from how stock prices tend to reflect the company's potential and growth, Hankore should be trading at 15-20cts. Still a micro-penny?

Dont know if a 5% drop for 2-3 months is a doomsday scenario - its not for me - but for others it may be a different story

Ya Aims Amp dropped abit post announcement - just like how Hankore also did post announcement. Hankore has since climbed back

Using Aims Amp as a case study of a stock with solid fundamentals that underwent RSS, after the effective date of consolidation (which is what we should be looking at now) share price tanked by c. 5%

Hopefully Hankore can put in an even better performance than that, everybody huat! Cheers

leeeta      ( Date: 28-Nov-2013 22:50) Posted:

dooms day for weak or mid term holders..for longist like you is a different story. For Aims even those the RSS happens on   4th Oct, the announcement made for RSS was in Aug 2011 where px is above 1dollar.

reknab      ( Date: 28-Nov-2013 22:46) Posted:

Still a drop (from about 98 cents to 94 cents) but definitely not the doomsday scenario that everybody makes it out to be.

In fact a minor drop like that presents an excellent opportunity to add on to one's portfoli

Yup factored in.

Suzhou Wuzong will only be completed in 1Q 2015 so need to project 75,000 a day for 1Q and 150,000 for 2Q - 4Q

leeeta      ( Date: 28-Nov-2013 22:46) Posted:

did you include in those plants completing in 2014 and factor increases with the recent increase announcement (factor another 10-15% if you did not)?

reknab      ( Date: 28-Nov-2013 22:44) Posted:

How did you project your FY 2015 numbers? Revenue from WT treatment are relatively easy to calculate and shouldent differ that much

Happy to exchange and discuss our analysis.
