Kind of expected but just didn't expect so soon.

APPOINTMENT OF BANK OF AMERICA MERRILL LYNCH AS FINANCIAL ADVISOR
The Board of Directors (the “Board") of HanKore Environment Tech Group Limited (the “Company") would like to inform the shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) that it has received enquiries from third parties who have expressed interests in acquiring the individual or entire portfolio of the Company's water treatment assets. In view of these enquiries and in the interests of maximizing shareholders’ value, the Company has engaged Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its financial advisor to evaluate its strategic options with respect to its water treatment assets (the “Potential Transactions”).
The Company wishes to emphasize that as at the date of this announcement, discussions arising from such enquiries are at a preliminary stage and there is no certainty that any definitive or binding agreement will result from these discussions.
If and when there are any material developments which warrant a disclosure, the Company will make an appropriate announcement on SGXNET in compliance with the listing rules of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
Shareholders or potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company and to refrain from taking any action in respect of their shares in the Company which may be prejudicial to their interests. In the event that shareholders wish to deal in the shares, they should seek their own professional advice and consult with their own stockbrokers.

Some of us have been holding this stock since Biotreat days. I had this stock during those days too. I exited after taking a loss and back again this time. During the Biotreat days, we were hearing bad news one after another and wishing each one was the last. Today, we should be able to look to hearing positive news one after another and wishing they will not stop coming. The sentiment is a 180% swing. It is only a matter of time when the value is apparent to all.

errr....dont see a big chunk of the gov water budget going to HK so far..probably a drop from a bucket yes..sad.

Not impossible if Hankore stays prudent and not fall into typical problem of growing too fast and cash strapped again.
The Chinese plan to spend $60 billion on urban wastewater infrastructure over the next five years. The move will maximise the potential of under-utilitised assets.
China’s State Council announced plans last month to spend RMB3.4 trillion ($536 billion) on environmental protection before the end of 2015, of which RMB380 billion ($60 billion) will go on urban wastewater systems, including reuse. More than half (56%) of this is expected to come from private sources. The 12th Five-Year Plan (FYP) implies a 14% increase in municipal wastewater investment compared to the previous five-year period.
