DBSV said it has cut its target price for Global Testing Corp (GTC) to $0.37 from $0.48 to factor in the subdued outlook for the sector due to lower utilisation rates and lower selling prices as capacity and competition increase.

"Guidance for the fourth-quarter revenue is also disappointing as (the group) expects to see a 5-10% yoy decline," DBSV said in a note.

Hence, the brokerage is cutting its net profit estimates for 2006 by 17% to US$20.4 mln and for 2007 by 25% to US$24.7 mln, to reflect the lower utilisation and selling prices.

Nevertheless, DBS Vickers is keeping a "buy" call on the stock on the view that inventory adjustment should be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2007 and that some of the group's customers would be resuming normal loading by then.

"GTC at current levels remain attractive," DBS Vickers said.

3Q06 results are largely in line with market expectation. Top line grew 2.34% over 2Q06 in line with company's guidance. Bottom line grew 11.8% as against forecast of about 10% qoq. Support should be strong at the current price level due to its low PE and PB ratios. Do not expect excitement or surprises tomorrow.

From TA point of view,

Bollinger Bands: Might be a double top sell, wait for a few more days to confirm

A/D Lines: Downtrend a bit

Chaikin: Uptrending

MACD: Might break above "zero" point after few more days

William %R and RSI: Flat

As posted earlier, I still think this counter will drop a bit 1st before embarking on the next trend.

Just to add that despite its very strong financial performance, this stock is still trading at 20% discount to its IPO price in Aug 2005. At $0.245, My calculation is that it is trading at a PE of approx 8 times. I do see a lot of value in this stock.

It came down from a high of $0.39 in May 06 to a recent low of $0.225. Its 3Q06 results are due to be announced. Hope this will give it the much needed nudge forward.

It is on an uptrend. The price just breakout of a downtrend resistance line. However, $0.245 seems a tough barrier to clear. Since 11 Oct, GT has hit $0.245 three times without breaking it. Hope it does this time.

From TA point of view, it on an uptrend but from a personal point of view, it would dip a bit 1st before uptrending.

Tough job pushing it beyond $0.245. However, I believe that once this level is cleared, the counter should meet with little resistance till $0.275. Need perseverence here, I guess.
